way to miss one of the most important parts of the trip to nowhere. at pitchfork i had the pleasure of seeing sunset rubdown, as i mentioned before. but a couple of weeks ago i got to see frog eyes and wolf parade as well. and i know that a lot of sad bastard indie kids weep to see all three of spencer krugs bands (besides swan lake). so, i got the chance to see them all and it was uh-mazing!!! i had a great time. the thing about this guy is that his music is so heavy and meaningful sometimes, that i can't listen to it a lot, but when i do it's just a reassuring feeling. and spencer krug looks like a baby. he literally looks like a 9 year old. that is, when he isn't busy looking like mario of the super mario brothers with his mustache. i do have a crush on the man, but mostly because of his magical music ability. yes. magical. i think joe put it right when he said that sunset rubdown was so good because krug is the best part of wolf parade and he took that and made.....magic, really. speaking of horrible adjectives, i'll leave something for your viewing pleasure...
