i'm not very good at this blogging. but i wanted to take the time to mention those who are grief-stricken. the situation over seas is out of control and people are having a hard time getting back here. even the people here who have lost friends and family because of this conflict. and i use the term conflict for a lack of a better word. i'm truly sorry. my heart goes out to all of you and you are all in my prayers.

all nathan followill has to do is hit his drum sticks together twice before we blow large holes in our pants. last night the kings of leon truly kicked our asses in a show that i call uh uh uh uhnbelievable. youth and young manhood was a great album. aha shake heartbreak makes me go ape shit. but the next one? i don't know what i'm going to do!! screaming before EVERY line in that song. and the other one with indecipherable lyrics..."suck my balls?" "suck my body?" "suck my bear claw?" "sweaty balls?" "summer party?" "set my party?" "summer barbie?" their new songs make me fear them. that's how good they are. they're prettier than a display case of collectors barbie dolls and my little pony. combined. they rock harder than i play rocks. i fear their greatness. like that wasn't enough, we made every joke possible about them to later find out that they're all true. i loved it. every minute. i pity those who didn't dance or have as much fun as we did. so, thank you kings of leon. thank you for... playing your best, wearing all necklace charms ever created, having pretty hair, smoking and playing guitar solos at the same time, vests, tight jeans, cut-off sleeves, knee length boots, WHITE FLIP FLOPS, wine glasses, bear claw tattoos, and most importantly, creating the best stuff i've ever heard.
