paper chain

i wish i was lying when i say i'm making a paper chain for when caitlin gets back. she hasnt even gotten there yet. but she promised a gift (coughpandacough). i finally settled down to start drawing again. wow, i suck. fagen was right. "what the hell is this?" and then he'd grab the charcoal out of my hand. i have to have thirty drawings done soon. the new sunset rubdown gives me ADD. is he joshing or genius? i mean, it's serious. i have a picture of the back of his head. we're in deep. i attended noorin and sabih's wedding last week and i'm really happy for them. but exhausted too. we averaged 3 hours of sleep a night. but i got to meet ramesh as a child. he asked if his monster truck could be in the picture. i'm really happy for the newlyweds. i hope they're having fun in thailand. may Allah bless them. i'm gonna go act busy, but really just shuffle through the pantry like a fat kid. 364 to go.

ten to

i know i haven't been around in awhile, but a lot has happened since i was writing in here regularly. i graduated and i studied in austria. i got to see bregenz, vienna, stuttgart, munich, milan, and zurich. it was all i had hoped. then again i hadn't really hoped for much. but i loved it. i met a lot of great people that hate america, but love americans. indeed. i was also given the fortunate and unfortunate news that my best and only friends were moving away. i wasn't even here to stop them. but no sob stories from me. i love them. this made me think that my dwindling social life was surely to come to an end. and it totally is. my social life via the web of the wide world, however, may increase. so i decided to start writing a little bit in here. i mean, they're the only ones who would really read this. but this is the year, we decided, to really get our shit on track. so, here we go.
